What operating systems does the Aissence desktop app support?
The Aissence desktop app runs on Windows and on macOS for both Apple Silicon (M1–M4) and Intel Macs. You download the installer for your platform, sign in, and the overlay is ready for practice and permitted live use.
Does the desktop overlay show up on screen share?
The app may use operating-system capture-exclusion features, but results depend on the operating system, meeting application, capture method, and version. Test the exact setup and follow the interviewer or employer rules that apply.
Why use the desktop app instead of a browser extension?
The native app can capture permitted system audio and display contextual assistance outside the browser. The Chrome extension has a different job: application-form autofill on supported ATS sites.
How fast is the desktop app?
Response time depends on audio capture, transcription, the selected AI provider, network conditions, and question complexity. Aissence streams supported stages to reduce waiting but does not promise one universal latency.
