The Aissence desktop app runs on Windows and on macOS for both Apple Silicon (M1–M4) and Intel Macs. You download the installer for your platform, sign in, and the overlay is ready for practice and permitted live use.
The app may use operating-system capture-exclusion features, but results depend on the operating system, meeting application, capture method, and version. Test the exact setup and follow the interviewer or employer rules that apply.
The native app can capture permitted system audio and display contextual assistance outside the browser. The Chrome extension has a different job: application-form autofill on supported ATS sites.
Response time depends on audio capture, transcription, the selected AI provider, network conditions, and question complexity. Aissence streams supported stages to reduce waiting but does not promise one universal latency.
You can create a free account and use the desktop app on the free tier, with paid plans adding unlimited real-time answers and the full coding copilot. Check the current pricing page for exact limits, since plans change over time.
